Animals at the Zoo
At the World of Discovery, we have over 70 different species of animals, including reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. From our tiny dart frogs to our 18 foot long reticulated python, you will see a variety of sizes, colors and types of animals from around the world. Our collection includes large and unusual species of lizards, including crocodile monitors, caiman lizards and a blue tree monitor. We also have a few native Michigan reptiles. About 80% of our animals were rescued or surrendered, and have found a home here with us.
